Ninteen years ago, to the day, another wonderful Palestinian was walking the streets of London. He had many enemies, for nothing wrong he did. A young man approached him, and with a muffled gun shot sent him into a comma that lasted until the 29th of August of the same year.
Naji Ali, was one Palestinian who feared no one. He would insult Arafat to his face, criticise every single party to the conflict who was on the worng.
The said of him that he taught Arab to read the newspaper from the back. His cartoons said all what the poor and the oppressed of the Arab world wanted to say.
This day might have passed without him being mentioned, but Handallah and Fatima will always remind us of him.
