Today is the last day of work before we get a Loooooong break for Christmass and Eid. We will be back at work on the 6th of January. Obviously, no one is in the mood to do any work, everybody is thinking about the two weeks of nothingness to come. Well, it was nice to hear Christmas carols in so many different languages when I was in the cab this morning. I am somewhat sensing a Christmas feeling around, but I have to admit it used to be a much better feeling in previous years.
I remember that in the late eighties early ninties people dressed as Santa would drive accross Ramallah ringing the bells of Christmas and in some instances throwing gifts at kids, usually chocolates.
Anyway, Christmas is in two days, and it will be nice to see what becomes of Ramallah then. Happy Holidays everyone.
